Description
| The U.S Army Corps of Engineers, environmental and engineering experts from RBF Consulting and the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck will gather regional experts and National Water Quality leaders to present and discuss the Rapanos Decision and other important developments in the Clean Water Act. The Symposium is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 8:30 am-3:00 pm at the Sheraton Salt Lake City.
The Rapanos decision regarding the definition of the waters of the U.S. and its regulatory and legislative ripples have created substantial uncertainty for permit applicants. The extensive changes to the jurisdictional reach of the Clean Water Act has significant implications to public agencies, landowners, private developers, and other entities involved in engineering and construction. The Symposium will be of value to engineers, environmental and permit specialists, agencies and organizations, developers and regulators faced with Clean Water Act and jurisdictional wetland compliance.
For additional details including a copy of the program agenda or to register for the program, go to www.RBF.com/rapanos or contact Cindy Okamoto at 800.479.3808. The Symposium will require pre-registration for attendance. |
